Buhari's former media aide, Garba Shehu, conveyed the statement, which emphasized the former president's need for rest and tranquility. Buhari yearns for an atmosphere conducive to the successful realization of the promises made during the Tinubu administration.
Therefore,
he decided to temporarily relocate from Daura to London to create the right
environment for both personal rejuvenation and the progress of the government.
Buhari's return to Daura after the conclusion of his administration was accompanied by a flurry of visitors seeking his attention. Recognizing the incessant flow of guests throughout the day, Buhari realized that his desired peace could not be found in his hometown.
He made the decision to depart for London, where he subsequently met with President Bola Tinubu.
