38-year-old Vjosa Osmani was elected as the President of Kosovo after garnering 71 votes from the 82 lawmakers present in the 120-seat parliament.
Vjosa Osmani took office on Tuesday, as the new president of Kosovo for a 5 year term.
She's the second female president of Kosovo, following Atifete Jahjaga, who served from 2011 - 2016.
